Did you know that nearly two billion birds migrate through Texas between March and June every year? We're in the midst of spring migration, and unfortunately it's not always smooth sailing for birds as they make their way across North America. Window collisions, predation by house cats, light pollution that gets them off course—all these and more are serious threats to birds in your area.
Travis Audubon is helping to protect birds during migration (and year-round) by managing nature preserves, safe havens for both travelers and permanent residents, and leading education programs that teach the general public how to carry out conservation practices in their own home.
