Birdathon 2025

This year you can create and share a personal fundraising page to support Birdathon. Both the highest individual and team fundraisers will win an invitation to an exclusive Birdathon VIP Trip! Winners will explore Pecan Springs Karst Preserve in Williamson County on May 31st with esteemed ornithologist and TAS Board Member Rich Kostecke.

Start fundraising

 
  1. Go to https://tasbirdathon.rallybound.org/Account/Register.
  2. Enter your email address, then click Next. You can also register with a Facebook or Google account.
  3. Add your name and create a password. Click Register.
  4. Add your contact information.
  5. Set a goal for your fundraiser. You can change this later if need be.
  6. If you’d like to compete in the Birding Brawl, check the radio button next to Competitor. This will give you the option to create or join a team, but you can also compete as an individual without a team. Click Next.
  7. Unless you’d like to register another Birdathon account at this time, click Continue.
  8. Make a donation to your fundraiser, or click No thanks to continue the setup process. You can always make a donation later.
  9. Agree to the waiver, then click Complete Registration.
  10. Once the page reloads to your dashboard, upload a photo for your profile. This will help potential donors identify you when they look at your fundraiser. Click Next once you’ve uploaded a photo.
  11. Update your fundraising goal, or make a donation towards your fundraiser. You can click Skip to bypass either of these steps.
  12. Click Skip if your contact information looks correct.
  13. Enter a custom URL for your fundraiser. Click Create My URL Now.

That’s it! You’re ready to start fundraising. Here are our tips for getting your fundraiser up and running:
